Bachata is a rhythmic dance style that originated in the Dominican Republic and has captured hearts worldwide. It's danced between two people, a leader and a follower, similar to Salsa but it's different in being slower, having a closer connection and more intense and sensual turns. Over the years, Bachata has evolved into a global sensation, embraced in clubs, festivals, and dance studios everywhere, making it one of the most popular and beloved Latin dances today. In our classes we will be doing Bachata Moderna which is the most popular style danced globally today.
